Hi, I’m Vandana !
Welcome to my little corner of the internet, where skincare, makeup, and honest beauty experiences come together.
I’m Vandana, a 20-year-old from Delhi NCR, and like many of you, my journey with beauty products has involved a lot of experimenting, learning, and sometimes wondering, “Is this product actually worth the hype?”
I have oily skin, so I know the struggle of dealing with excess shine, breakouts, products that feel too heavy, and finding makeup that actually stays in place. Over time, I’ve tried different skincare and makeup products to figure out what genuinely works for me—and what definitely doesn’t.
That’s why I created this blog.
Here, I share my personal experiences, honest reviews, skincare discoveries, makeup favorites, and everything I learn along the way. I’m not here to tell you that one product will magically transform your skin. Instead, I want to give you a realistic idea of what a product is like, how it worked for me, who it might suit, and whether I think it’s actually worth your money.
Because everyone's skin is different, my experience may not be exactly the same as yours—and that’s okay. My goal is simply to make your beauty journey a little easier by sharing the things I wish I had known before buying them myself.
So whether you’re looking for a new moisturizer, trying to build a skincare routine for oily skin, searching for makeup that lasts through a Delhi day, or just love discovering new beauty products, you’re in the right place.
Grab your skincare, your makeup bag, and let’s figure out what’s actually worth trying—together.
Welcome to my beauty diary!

What Does Your Skin Type Actually Mean? 🌸

Before buying skincare or following the latest beauty trend, it helps to understand one simple thing: your skin type.

Your skin type is mainly based on how much natural oil (sebum) your skin produces. The most common types are normal, dry, oily, and combination.

🧴 Normal Skin

Balanced—not too oily and not too dry. It usually feels comfortable throughout the day.

🌵 Dry Skin

Produces less oil and may feel tight, rough, or flaky, especially after cleansing.

✨ Oily Skin

Produces more oil, which can lead to shine, clogged pores, and breakouts. As someone with oily skin, this is the one I know all too well!

🌗 Combination Skin

A mix of both—often an oily T-zone with drier cheeks.

What about sensitive skin?

Sensitive skin is a little different. It describes how easily your skin reacts, rather than how oily or dry it is. You can have oily and sensitive skin, dry and sensitive skin, and so on.

💭 Vandana’s Take

I used to think having oily skin meant I needed to remove as much oil as possible. But I’ve learned that skincare isn’t about fighting your skin—it’s about understanding it.

Your skin type is a starting point, not a permanent label. Weather, hormones, age, and your routine can all affect how your skin behaves.

So before asking, “What product should I buy?” maybe start with, “What does my skin actually need?” ♡
